Zoé Pelchat

After studying communications at Concordia University and cinema at L’INIS, Zoé began her career in the world of music videos, quickly moving on to advertising and fiction.
It was with her webseries DOMINOS (2018-2020), broadcast on TV5/Unis.tv and then Tou.tv that she achieved her first major success. The two seasons travel the world and win several awards, including the trophy for Best Digital Series at Canneseries. Zoé continued her success with her short fiction film, LUNE (2020), which had its world premiere at Clermont-Ferrand, and was then screened at some forty international festivals. The film wins several awards and mentions for the touching performance of its lead actress, Joanie Martel. It was also nominated for the Iris award for Best Quebec Short Film.
In 2023, her second short film, GABY LES COLLINES, had its world premiere in the Generation section at the Berlinale. ATLANTIS, another short, this time co-directed with Jean-François Sauvé, debuted at the REGARD Festival.
In the meantime, Zoé writes DOUCE PRIÈRE, her first feature film, while pursuing an advertising career with legendary production company Cinélande. Her work is known for its sharp dialogue, intoxicating visuals and undeniable love of people.
