Ludovic Huot

Screenwriter

After graduating from the programm Cinema and Communication from Cégep of Saint-Hyacinthe in 2007, Ludovic went on to study Screenwriting (2008) and Creative Writing (2009) at l’Université du Québec à Montréal. He then quits school to grab the opportunity of becoming personal assistant for screenwriter Ian Lauzon with whom he will eventually write the feature film LA GRDE (2014) wich will later be presented at the Shanghai International Film Festival. They then co-wrote two seasons of the TV drama MARCHE À L’OMBRE wich was broadcasted on Super Écran from 2015 to 2017.

Following those collaborative years, Ludovic left Canada to visit Europe, Japan and particularly Australia where he lived for a year.

Returning to Canada, he started working on RED DIRT, a collection of short stories inspired by the time he was working as a cook in a remote mining village of Northern Australia. He’s still working on it and wish to adapt it someday to the big screen. Alosa, Ludovic recently returned to screenwriting with the TV drama LA COLLECTE in collaboration with Charles-Étienne Brassard, wich is presently in development with Groupe Fairplay.
