François Boulay

Writer | Screenwriter

François Boulay is a Canadian film and television screenwriter, best known as co-writer with Jean-Marc Vallée of the 2005 film C.R.A.Z.Y. Boulay and Vallée won the Genie Award for Best Original Screenplay at the 26th Genie Awards and the Jutra Award for Best Screenplay at the 8th Jutra Awards. Screenwriter for many years, he has worked on numerous youth and mainstream programs/series such as the series LES GRANDS PROCÈS, for which he won the Prix Gémeau for Best Dramatic Script. He also collaborated on the television series PROVIDENCE, MÉMOIRES VIVES and UNE AUTRE Histoire by Chantal Cadieux rovidence, Mémoires vives and Une autre histoire, by Chantal Cadieux.
He is currently working on two feature film scripts entitled MOTEL DES CABINES et À HUIS CLOS AVEC MON PÈRE.
